Ireland’s Consumer Confidence Report Shows 10 Point Increase!

The latest Nielsen report reveals an increase in Irish consumer confidence. Ireland’s score is 92 for the first quarter of 2015, up ten points from the same time last year. The European average remains relatively unchanged at 77 points.

The increase has emerged due to increased confidence in consumers’ personal finances, and a drop in concern with increasing utility bills.

72% believe we are still in recession, an increase of 6% from the previous year.
